For my aunt
who was very strong
in both her opinions and her spirit
who lived alot
in such a short time
who always put her family first
even though she needed help the most

I'll miss you
even though we didn't always see eye to eye
you always helped me
you made me feel like I was the most important
You could make me laugh
You also showed me
how to know when I'm wrong

You were an inspiration
You were a special person
you could cook
you could make clothes
When there were difficulties
you took it in stride
You were beautiful
but even more beautiful was your soul
and when you discovered
that you had cancer
and that it was incurable
you thought only of your family

Now that you're gone
it's hard for me
You did so much for me
and I, hardly anything for you
I know you're no longer suffering
but I miss you very much
for everything you did
and everything you were
